We started as best friends and evolved into creative partners. Now, as MDFilms, we're a directing duo with roots in Sri Lanka and Ghana, blending our diverse backgrounds into a unique storytelling approach.

Over the past decade, we've immersed ourselves in every facet of media production with experience working on high-profile projects internationally. Weve supported world-renowned brands, major recording artists and socially driven campaigns. that have reached millions of viewers, sparked policy changes in Parliament, secured funding for charities and impacted the profiles of some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.

KNIVES DOWN - CAMPAIGN

We directed this campaign to tackle the growing issue of knife crime. our creative direction and production along with our talented team lead to critical policy changes in the uk parliament . this project received praise from the royal families kings trust and a critical meeting with prime minister keir starmer. thiis alos lead to a BBC documentary on the issue and overall results in millions in engagement across the uk both digitally and on print.

YSL SOCAIL MEDIA

We flew to Paris to directed and post produce digital assets for YvesSaintLaurent’s global social campaign aimed at marketing new fragrance. With a quick turn around a minimal resources, we blew expectations resulting boosted sales and brand advocacy

NE-YO SHOW ME

We directed a shoot for Ne-yo while being on Tour with him over the span of 3 weeks, with one of the best teams out in Thailand. First landing in Brazil and made it to the other side of the world in Australia, we were approached to make a music video in less than a week. We shot this beautiful piece in the heart of Thailand, Bangkok and made one of our most visually pleasing works of all time.
